Steve Cyndi Green
Steve Green is Board President of the House of Moses. He and his wife Cyndi have been married for 20 years and have two teenage boys. Steve has been a District Manager with Starbucks Coffee Company for the last seven years. Before that, he spent 13 years with Blockbuster in various capacities and in between those times, they owned their own business. Cyndi is an RN with Baylor Medical Center in Trophy Club. She worked part-time in the floral business until getting her second degree as a BSN in 2006. She is an awesome wife, best friend and wonderful mother to their two boys. "What Moses did for the people of Israel, our residents at HoM are doing for their own country. Discipleship is powerful, spiritual and biblical for empowering people in any country. Simply stated, I love Haiti, I love the people and the beauty in their brokenness. I am blessed to help lead such an organization and follow what Christ calls us each of us to do."
Doug and Lindy Shelton
Treasurer and Administrative Assistant
Doug is the House of Moses Board Treasurer. Doug and his wife Lindy have been married for 26 years and have three wonderful sons who have graduated. Lindy is the Administrative Assistant and stateside liaison for the House of Moses. Doug is a self-employed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) who has been in public practice for over 20 years. He specializes in small businesses. Lindy is a self-employed bookkeeper whose client base includes for-profit and non-profit corporations. She has also worked in the title, banking and home-building industries through the years. Doug and Lindy were led to the HoM to help equip the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ… Eph 4:12
Rodney and Debbie Payne
Rodney and Debbie who have been married for 26 years are board members for the HoM. They have one child in heaven and have several children that they have taken under their wings as their own. Rodney is an Insurance Agent for Texas Farm Bureau while Debby is an employee of Tarleton State University. Rodney and Debbie also direct and oversee the Refuge College Ministry in Stephenville Texas. "Christ changed us from the inside out, and we are still a work in progress. I have a passion for a lost and dying world in places like Haiti, and am very honored and blessed to serve and be a small part of the work God is doing through the House of Moses."
James and Laurie Dearth
James and his wife Laurie have been married for 17 years and live in the Houston area.They have 3 children. James is a retired NFL football player. Laurie is a preschool teacher at a Christian school.
Brad and Carissa Patterson
Brad and Carissa have been married for 3 1/2 years. Brad is a full time student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is working on his Masters of Divinity. He is a part-time youth pastor at Life Connection Church in Euless, TX as well as a server at a restaurant in Fort Worth, TX. Carissa is a part-time student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where she is working on her Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies. She is a full-time employee at the seminary, and works at a restaurant on the weekends.
Setting the bar high for students, followers of Jesus, and people in general is something that I am extremely passionate about. I have been called from a background of mediocrity to bring glory to a great God. God placed me in a very similar home like HoM as a student/young adult, and I am proud to invest in anyway possible in order to give students the same chance that I was given. I am an engineering major at TCC in Fort Worth, TX. I work for CarMax as a sales consultant. I serve at First Baptist Church in Burleson, TX. Also, I rock the mic like a vandal…
